Outside of Beyonce being #8 I can respect the top 10
Marvin Gaye should be in the #8 spot imo.
Michael Jackson doesn't always have to be #1 or in the top 5-10 lists, I like Michael Jackson but he's not the “be all end all” of singers especially historically among Black vocalists
we know where he stands in general but he doesn't have to always top the lists.
That's what I don't like about MJ stans, they can be a bit annoying as Michael Jordan stans, Pac stans, and all types of stans in existence they think their guy or gal is the “be all, end all” and nobody else matters.
I've listened to enough music from the past and present to be comfortable with not ranking MJ as #1, now I do think whatever he was rated on this list is too low (along with a few other soul 70s artists) but that doesn't mean I'd necessarily put him (MJ) in the top 5-10 spots.
