The Lions need to follow the Pistons lead and just rip the bandaid off. All these picks coming up the rebuild has to be all in. Goff needs to just be there to keep the seat warm for the QB they draft next.

6 games is too many wins. Shoot for under 4 and just tank.

They won 5 games last year with Patricia coaching. They’ll play hard. Defense will be solid, and Oline has a chance to he dominate with time. Just don’t see them being completely terrible and getting top pick

This makes the rebuild so much easier if Goff has a pulse but we need to be honest. Chances are, we are going to have to draft the new guy next year.

I'm ok with them drafting a QB. Build up everything else, which they're already in the process of doing, then plop a young QB right behind a strong o line, a nice stable of backs and a good te, and add a a dynamic receiver or 2 by draft or free agency as well. They got 2 first to use on that if they want. QB on cheap money after Goff leaves and keep building the rest of the offense and defense while relying on the coaches to develop these guys.

I really like the coaching staff on paper, and even if Campbell isn't a great X's and O's guy he seems to have surrounded himself with good football minds and he so far has the personality that invites people to buy into him. Doesn't come off like a stubborn jackass. I almost feel like I'm way too optimistic with their future, but I'm believing in them for first time in a long time.

They will be a good bad team. They'll lose more games than they win, but they will play hard and you'll see the flashes of potential from their youngsters. As far as WR, I really think St. Brown is going to be a legit difference maker sooner than later. He looks rather polished as a route-runner for a rookie, and if the stories from his altercations with his DB teammates are any indication, he has an edge that will endear him to the coaching staff and to fans alike.

Oh I fully expect them to be shytty, and I'm ok with that. Them and the Pistons should be on the same type of timeline.

why i when people talking bout 6-7 wins for this team. Gm need 3 drafts that net him 10-15 good nfl starters along with a few pro bowlers before we even begin to talk about this team getting better.
