Cephus was wide the fukk open on that 4th down over the middle.

One read shawty predetermined that terrible throw. :scust:

I still don't understand why Holmes double downed on the offensive line and they're lining up in the shotgun to throw on 4th downs all season. :mindblown:
Ragnow is out

down two starters

doesn’t matter bc the play call was perfect but Goff just blew it

I know it's early and while I like his energy...Campbell isn't it. This dude is an abject idiot. You don't turn down points at the end of the game like that. You're down ten. Take the FG and hope your defense can get a stop. Hell and I'm not even gonna talk about the 3 points we didn't try earlier in the game.

End of the day another L gets us closer to drafting that Oregon DE so I'm not mad but...I'm not sure what the long term plan is when the coach looks mentally unstable. This is just bad football IQ shyt. I wish Lynn was the coach, man. And another thing...Goff ain't it. I know he'll be here next year but man, this dude is trash.

Campbell will learn with this going for it shyt. Don’t see coaching as the lions issue so far. Lynn has done good job with offense so far with injuries to Oline and subpar WR core. Glenn is in impossible situation. No amount of coaching is going to help a talentless defensive roster

Giving everyone a pass this year from inheriting Quinntricia disaster

You right I'm being too hard on Cambell. Still if this team gets to a point where they are ready to compete in 2-3 years, I'm not sure he's the guy from that transition. But that's so far ahead it's not worth dwelling on.

0-17 seems likely. Tank for Thibodeaux...

We all know this season is a wash . This is about evaluation a TD here or an extra win there don’t mean shyt right now . They need to totally cleanse the roster and this is about seeing who can operate in high leverage ,high pressure situations because that’s the goal. Just take that last play

Goff locks on Amon Ra doesn’t go through his progressions and misses a totally open Cephus. It’s becoming obvious that he isn’t it but any evaluation staff HAS to do the work and go through a thorough process

Amon Ra isn’t a burner to begin with which means his route running has to be A1 to maximize his potential. Biggest play in the game he doesn’t run a crisp out route, jogs it out and contributes to the failure

Cephus who is the same archetype as St.Brown however wins and gets separation in the same situation

Kalif Raymond showed he can win in big spots

Hock has shown that he truly is a top 7ish TE

These evaluations are way more valuable than an extra win for a team that’ll go 4-13 at best .

Jamie Collins showed he couldn’t perform in those situations and he was let go because the staffs evaluation of Maybin said he could ..Today he got a chance and made a key defensive play (that was wasted )

im totally fine with what’s happening

I disagree on that throw. Goff made the correct decision. Ra was open. The problem is he missed the throw. Badly. And he's been doing that all season.

The offense has pieces and can be fixed relatively quickly IMO. We already have the o-line, a great TE, two good RBs, and a couple WRs worth keeping. Getting a big play WR in FA or the draft won't be hard. Also gonna need another TE to compliment Hock. The defense is where shyt is bad. It'll be completely over hauled next year. Will it work? We'll see. We need everything. CBs, LBs, safeties (fukk Will Harris), etc.

The offense is a #1 WR away from being pretty good. by end of year if healthy I expect oline to be elite. Looks like next FA class is strong at WR

Goff is still stop gap QB but Lions have too many pressing needs to address qb right now. At least with there 1st pick. If Rattler were to drop to the Rams pick I would think about it

Defense is mess. Not counting rookies, Amani is only keeper. Okwara and okudah coming off achillies:snoop:. Might as well flip Okudah to safety now. Tracy Walker has been a disappointment, hopefully they don’t resign him. Will Harris is worse DB in lions history. Flowers stealing money. Brockers has been solid. Linebackers remain terrible. Hopefully Barnes looks better with more PT. J Okwara needs to start now that his brothers out.

So lions damn near need 8 new starters on defense :snoop::heh:

Atleast NBA about to start :blessed:
