Yes, I'm Black.
No, I voted for Jill Stein. Your assumption is wrong.
Voting doesn't guarantee the results you want. That's where your argument is failing. Even if I did vote for Kamala she still would have lost right?
I never said it would happen under Kamala so I don't know why you keep bringing that up. It's an argument I never made.
Voting for someone that wasnt going to win, plays into why kamala didnt win lol its basically a non vote, and not pragmatic at all.
People like you, and those who didnt vote. Are pretty much why kamala didnt win.

Simple as that. If more people didnt do what you did, or voted in general. she would have probably won.

Its really that simple. Thats why we were telling you people to be pragmatic. But you never learn....

Wow, "If more people voted for my candidate she would have won!" Is there a more obvious take? Kamala wasn't going to win either. She got blown out dude. Pragmatism fail. lol
You're literally arguing against the democratic process and don't even know it. The only sensible vote in your eyes is Kamala, can't vote 3rd party, can't vote for Trump otherwise your're a bad person.

Even worse. You just blindly accepted a tweet from someone you have no clue of just because she brought up reparations and accused Democrats of money laundering. Fact check be damn.

she didn't get blown out...did you see the final numbers? 1.6%? she lost because MAGA was on code while blue was not, similar to 2016. you however knowingly voted for someone who had no shot in hell.

The people who actually see trump as a sufficient problem will do what is pragmatic to avoid that by all means. You did not; because you do not see Trump as a specific problem. As we exposed within this conversation. luckily enough now, this isn't a pre-election conversation; we have evidence that he is terrible, and terrible for black people.

you have yet to show in this conversation that you have any care for that. you even randomly went on a rant saying "why should I care about that as much as you" the whitest thing you could possibly say.

you proved my point, you didn't care that much, and you voted accordingly. And gauging by your default attempt to deflect, gaslight, and distort the arguments within this conversation...yeah...I think you are not a great person lol that response of "why should i care about this as much as you" literally was something a shytty person would say. a narcissist. But in true narcissist fashion...you won't consider a word of what the majority of other black people here are telling you.

I await the narcissistic response that implies you know better than 95% of the other black people here pleading with you to move differently. Maybe if your arguments were brilliant and not easily dismantled we could believe in such genius. but they are easily dismantled, so...this is just straight narcissism.

Oh no, AngryBaby on the coli doesn't think I'm a great person! Dude this isn't HS, no one cares who you like and don't like. lol
And really if this is your stance to everyone who didn't vote for Kamala you aren't going to get a long with most people. Good luck with that.

So your argument IS that Trump is not a unique situation. Wow. Okay. Thats your position. And thats the problem. And the disconnect.

Funny how in 2008, affirmative action was still in place i.e. since 1961.

Funny how in 2008 DEI was still in place I.E. established 1961

Funny how roe v Wade was still in place i.e. established 1970

What about the Chevron act? Established 1984...overturned. all as a result of Trump.

What about defunding the DOE? GAG ordering the EPA? disbanding WHO? that is...business as usual?

Not only have we had 40+ year established progressive rights overturned that had NOT been previously under any admin. The current situation with Musk is unprecedented, has not happened. That is gilded age oligarchy.

Also, lets not pretend the blatant rhetoric held in office in the modern era isnt extraordinary. Blaming plane crashes on DEI, heiling hitler, and attending Nazi party conferences is shyt that actually matters. I dont remember obama or Bush doing that. And again, it fukking matters, it affects culture and how people behave. It creates division we havent seen in decades. To act like Obama was also doing the same shyt...is a nefarious and intentional distortion of reality.

Trump is a uniquely bad situation. If you dont believe that. I need you to make it clear and say precisely "I dont think Trump is a uniquely bad situation".

If you dont say that and instead deflect, I have to winder why you seem emotionally set on evading a clearly easy point to demonstrate.

You are either defending trump, or egotistically defending why you didnt vote still. Either one is bad, and not good for black people.evil shyt man.

@AnonymityX1000 is basically making an "All Lives Matter" argument when discussing the government doing bad things. Every bit of corruption or crime through different methods, people, and administrations are exactly equal. Pointing out the bad things Trump does in his eyes means you stan Biden and Obama, or you don't care about how bad Bush was.

If you told him your mom just passed away, he'd probably be like "my mom died three years ago, thanks for finally noticing".

You guys no so much about me. lol Not equal but unchecked corruption breeds more flagrant corruption. We as a nation should have had a lower tolerance for it awhile ago if you wanted to stop current events of today. Being outraged now is too late.

I go by what you post. I don't have to know you personally to recognize you frequently have shïtty political takes.

If Fred Hampton, Malcolm X, Dr. King, Fannie Lou Hamer, and many other Black leaders had this attitude they would have accomplished nothing. We wouldn't even know who they were.

Laws against discrimination, racism, fraud, and theft have not completely ended any of them. Are those laws and efforts to stop them therefore unimportant?

I guess if you treat all corruption the same, I shouldn't be surprised that you're more concerned with bending the rules on a forum than EEOC protections being rescinded.
No, I think by the premise you are forwarding I think your welching and EEOC protections are equally concerning. Damn, contradicting your own narrative within the same sentence has to be a record. lol

I mean it's not just me...that's the problem lol

I simply think if a numerous amount of people within your same demographic find you to be flimsy and unreasonably bad faith in your arguments; ignoring clear and concise questions, points etc, especially regarding how this admin impacts your own people...If a majority group of people are telling you a thing...like I see in this thread. then a rational person might make some sort of statistical self analysis. not you though lol

there are alot of uneducated people who didn't see Trump as any sort of threat, enough to properly take the pragmatic measures to stop an administration like that. and you simply fall into that category. You can't even develop any arguments that make any actual sense to defend your position; and ignore the racial impact.

Even people like Peter Joseph, creator of the zeitgeist movement, and has done more to highlight corruption than you... see Trump as a unique enough figure that will severely affect the progression and amplify the corruption you apparently care so much about; permanently damaging any sort of progress towards civil rights measures, climate, economy, and culture as we see it.

So you're solution is...not doing anything? and how are you objectively even gauging people's "lack of tolerance for corruption"? by voting? and you're solution is...Jill Stein of all people? LMAO

see, these aren't intelligent arguments...they are bad. easy to dismantle. Hence why you puss out of engaging with the question of why are you c00ning out of the racial element of this conversation.
