the reason he does so many youtube shows is because he wants to build a libarary so start some kind of streaming service.

his top wrestlers include the Young Bucks, CM Punk, Adam Page, Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson and they all have extensive history in ROH

ROH owns the rights to ALL IN which is basically the first AEW show

what would WWE do with the footage besides never upload it? it has way more value to TK
It may be more valuable to him but they just don't have enough content for a network at the moment so it would be sitting around either way.

Right now there network content would be Being the elite, Dark & Dark elevation & Rhodes to the top with ppv. Even the most dieheart AEW fans outside of ppv wouldn't be jumping to cop there network i think even with ROH library.

I don't think people actually realize exactly how much content you need to operate a streaming service especially when the market is already saturated as it is. It's the exact reason why streaming services out here are merging together as it's too expensive to operate alone and you need millions of subscribers to justify the price tag.

It's exactly the reason why I think that we will end up cable again once it's all said and done as it's literally how cable was created in the first place.

I don't think there selling the library right away I wouldn't be surprised if they use it as programming until they try to start up or sell the brand it self.

I think that ROH library has far more value to the AEW fan than you're giving it. I'm pretty sure ROH has never even properly made it all available anywhere.

if they start one they could also create extra content exclusive to their network, I think you'd be surprised. the AEW fans are proven diehards.

I guess it's just a matter of how many subscribers he'd need for it to be profitable.

Definitely six to seven figure subscriber numbers to justify the price tag as streaming services aren't cheap to own and operate especially when you're constantly having to create new content. It's the exact reason why it was more profitable for WWE to sell their network to Peacock even in spite of all the content history that they have.

Maybe I'm not giving AEW fans enough credit or just how much dieheart fans they really are that they would buy anything.

even an establish brand like WWE had struggles getting there network off the ground with delays and setbacks and struggle coming up with content.

At the end of the day its all about profitability if this is five or six years down start the network go for it but right now when there still trying to get established i think they would be taken an L unless there cool with taken the L because you no long term it will be a W
