I never understood this reasoning. How is anyone forced to abort their pregnancy? Do black people have no agency? Why does a medical practice need to be banned for our own good?

Also, Roes real precedent was that it solidified the right to privacy, especially in regards to medicine.

I’m simply responding to your counter argument about the breh saying our population would grow.

personally I think roe v wade was weak because it was not a law passed by congress but a Supreme Court decision that will always be in danger.

As for me I am pro life but I recognize the issues with simply banning it with no stipulation or amendments. That said I won’t stand for any pro-population control arguments.

Realest statement made in this thread.

Perfect example is my guy replying to me to conflate the existence of qualified immunity with a law that was considered settled on the basis of personal privacy and given choice.

There's a saying I read somewhere, I'm paraphrasing but it was basically -

"People on the right only need one reason to vote. People on the left only need one reason NOT to vote. This is why the right always wins."

The argument against abortion at this point is literally one of increasing the underclass and exerting more control over undesirables :ohhh:

Poorer women experience unintended pregnancy at a much higher rate than affluent women and thus represent a larger percentage of abortions, banning abortion is basically condemning poor women to having kids they can’t take care of, furthermore, the states that want to ban it are some of the most notorious for cutting social safety nets, not going after child support, etc. they want poor women to have kids while also doing Jack shyt to enable a decent quality of life for these kids.

you’re ass backwards if you don’t see this as an attack on the poor and an attempt to grow the poverty class for greater exploitation

more poverty -> more crime -> more for profit prisons and all the other businesses and ventures of our prison industrial complex society

more poverty -> more poor people to fight in our army

more poverty -> more wage and worker suppression as there are more people to exploit as they compete for limited resources

meanwhile well off women will fly a state or two over and abort babies.

If abortion was population control of undesirables (not true as allowing abortion provided choice, not force), banning it is political control of undesirables…this is not a moral win

the correlation from increased abortions to decreased crime has been debunked by researchers today btw. That is also another eugenist argument to mostly curtail the “undesirable” population.

Also your increased population will result in more wage suppression makes no sense considering America imports millions of immigrants every year and the Democratic Party is in favor of an even greater number. Black people are the only racial minority in America not increasing, somehow this is good for our political and strategic future??
