IIRC him and Tony Atlas were the first Black tag team champions in WWF history. But yea a real trailblazer in the sport where Black wrestlers were relagated to being stereotypical jobbers. Everyone knows he's the Rocks dad but he was a legend in his own right.

i think rocky mighta had some drug/drinking issues after he retired and they didn't get along, there's a recent pic of them at one of his premieres though so hopefully they patched things up before he died.
