rockets is doing big business right now. trade picks for dwight or another superstar, or they can rebuild through the draft. if howard walks they either convince him to do a s & t. or get the cap space. how are the rockets losing here??

What if they move up and get the #8 pick and actually draft with all 4 first round picks. They'd be horrible this year and then win the lotto next year and get a superstar with top 3 pick. Then in like 3-years, they'll be better & younger than the Thunder were this past season. That'd be amazing

Even though D12 will be a rental, you gotta give Morey props though. The dude is going all out to get D12, and even though it won't happen, Hakeem can convince Howard and be like "Don't be soch a betch nikka" and try to pair him with another star like Josh Smith maybe? after reading bleacher's offbrand draft.
mixed with some wack lame excuses.
for why certain players will go lower than other mock's.
a lot of teams seem like they could make mistakes.
the rockets could build considerable fire power if they draft right.
i even read one mock draft. i believe cbs's mock draft.
that had perry jones slip to the celtics.
then the celts take moultrie with that next pick and jettison kg.
which seems unlikely,...
given that situation, in the mocks.
it seems there are to many darkhorses, or uncertainties.
plus the nba teams have made poor choices, before.
so if i was the rockets i would plan my draft really well.
as they could be back in the thick of things.
if they scout well and pick right with those picks,......
i would stop pursuit of howard,...after getting those picks.
if i was them i would go after the pick at the eight slot.
then feast on draft night to rebuild this team back to prominence.

There will still be some available role players in their range, and next year, maybe try to tank for Shabazz, Noel, or Parker, if I'm them, I'm keeping those picks and building a young nucleus
