All-star, super bowl, Grammys, Oscars and on always had events and parties since forever - except that we’re in a social media era. I don’t think these so called big dogs are bragging rather theyre happy cause these respective weekends are like homecoming or Christmas in their respective business.

Also is networking events bad now? Black people connecting and spreading love instead of hating? First time I saw people hating on these events is when nikkas started having them, the c00nery never fails:wow:
It's more about the person hosting them than anything else. If this was Lebrons shyt or Oprahs shyt nikkas would have no issue.

FALSE....

These miserable n1kkas will hate on anything they aint invited to or perceived as reserved for the "elites"
Lebron and Oprah are WAY up there when it comes to that perception.

Big respect to these brothers and sisters presenting excellence. Lot of weird outfits and not my kick but love us getting out of slumming it

Mentioned this a lot of times before, but I had that Jay Hard Knock Life Vol. 2 poster on my wall in 7th grade, with the Bentley, and look how far he was then, in 1998, and look how far he's come now, it is hard to try and live up to those you admire, when it's someone like Jay. There's an argument to be made about role models, and idealization, and guidance, but also an argument that sometimes these people live up to their legend.

Not sure how much I want to speculate on Roc Nation brunch invites, sounding like a bytch, but lol @ Eminem showing up. The man is a mess.

So tell me when I rap you think I give a fukk who criticize?
If the shyt is lies, God strike me
And I got a question, are you forgiving guys who live just like me?
We'll never know
One day I pray to you and said if I ever blow, I'd let 'em know
The stakes, and exactly what takes place in the ghetto
Promise fulfilled, still I feel my job ain't done

Cough up a lung, where I'm from, Marcy son, ain't nothing nice

dude had a mission and ain’t letting up

i do agree it's weird how much some of yall get triggered by this brunch, not sure if it's a jay thing or just where culture is thanks to social media. but puff's white party in the hamptons was basically this event for artists in the late 90's and 00's...no one hated on that shyt, every one loved seeing pics in the new source, vibe, mtv or one of the hip hop sites and i remember everyone used to want to go to it.

like is it because it's brunch, they wear suits, or it's jay, that the same type of black celebrity event gets a totally different reaction?

TYRONE GA!
It’s crazy when you think about how far hip hop has come from its rebellious, anti establishment beginnings. From fukk The Police and Fight The Power to Roasted Pineapple Syrup, Pastel clad Corporate Sponsored Brunches.

But hey, everyone sells out eventually. Can’t expect people to be on the same wave length they were 30 years ago. And if anyone was gonna get paid and bougie from hip hop, I’m glad it’s Jay, Nas etc.

Short nikkas winning? :ohhh:

Man if you think about it, don't none of these bad ass chicks settle down with their male equiavalent in attractiveness. It's always some regular lookin dude.

I remember seeing who Eva Pigford settled down with and thinking "Cmon now" :beli:
