He likes to do physical releases only for a week or two. I heard it may drop streaming on Friday. Why is this on spotify yet?
I agree, I remember the violator days when marcberg was just a new york "street album" that made it way to being a national digital downloaded album. One could argue it was reloaded being what it was that got us to this point but I feel like he was still on the same level as willie the kid and Bronson at that point. It was the rosebuud joint that put him ahead of all the other underground cats I was following/follow at that time til now. He is the unquestioned underground rapper king right now but I still feel that as far as the whole underground rap lane goes wtk, currensy, bronson, planet asia, swollen members and a few others are just as responsible when it comes to keeping this genre of rap strong but roc really came thru on some michael jordan shyt. 6 championships in a rowTag me if you do end up discussing this. I’m curious on your thoughts. I’m not exactly sure how he ended up here either. I have a lot of thoughts though.
Also, I’m not trying to drop a ‘hot take’ but I honestly think that (especially) ever since RR2 up to now that Roc has sort of transcended beyond his own wave and sound that he ushered in.
I don't know who Cook$ is but he killed that shytpuff daddy...
