How is it false in the sense that Roc's influence in terms of how he shifted underground rap is similar to how Rakim shifted how rappers rap in the late 80s and beyond? The argument isn't that Roc=Rakim. It's a matter of impact and shifting the genre.

Ransom, Griselda, etc are a product of what Roc started. That's just a fact.

A couple producers I've talked to that know Al have said they've heard it's dropping next on Al's schedule. Roc, Roc's manager, and Al have been mentioning little subliminals about it on IG and Twitter all year with the purple crystal ball emoji thing. Al pushed the Half Moon Bay Currensy album set to drop yesterday to 2022. Roc always drops 4th quarter and his manager confirmed that the next Roc album is the Alc one. Al commented on a Roc post not too long ago that "this is finally our year" with the same little crystal ball that he posts when an album is dropping.

It's not a guarantee, but RocChemist is very likely.
