you sound real bitter.... :leon:
Duran is the bitter one.........................................

Who the fukk asked him for his opinion, if we want to start throwing opinions Duran wasnt shyt beat SRL the once then lost every other big match straight gate keeper status with his quiting ass, besides SRL who the fukk he beat but bums. I'm sick of older fighters thinking they were the best thing since sliced bread, and since they fought in a certain era they are entitled, the sport has evolved constantly like any other sport if Mayweather got away with facing the Laings and the Simms of the world he would hands down be the GOAT, he damn sure wouldn't lose to them fighters

duran;s quittin ass would get whooped by mayweather so i don't no what his angle is:bryan:
mayweather wouldn't be just another guy in any era
i see him beating SRL
hearns would give him some trouble (hearns is everything people act like paul williams is) would be a toss up

mayweather makes adjustments better den mayb any boxer in history
Dat's why he could compete with anyone. that's truly what makes him elite
one style or one gameplan is not beating him

A man( a known Pacquaio fan) that lost to various C class fighters, has the nerve to slight Floyd, because they know he will beat the shyt out of ginger boy, Mexico's current manufactured champ...................

Nothing else needs to be said......

:heh: you got all that from Duran making those comments? And when was Duran this "Pacquiao fan"??? He was giving Cotto pointers in his fight with Pacquiao right before the fight and was cheering on Margarito when he fought Pac. Duran and Tony Rivera both said Pacquiao is good but very beatable.

He just one bitter fukk, despite his hate for everyone at times he showed he is a Manny fan some of his come forward style has lived through Manny, it is also well known he hates Mayweather, he sees visions of SRL when he sees Mayweather and it irks him

As far as Manny being beatable a Bradley who just caught one of the worst ass whippings I ever seen vs a unproved fighter, boxed the shyt out of Manny, so was Duran overrated ass lying...................

Duran hates everybody though. It's a known fact. He doesn't even like his contemporaries either.

He's a complete a$$hole. Still one of the greats though.

The Sweet Science
Though you can't always rely on punch stats, I remember watching the fight live thinking, "Man, Floyd lost this shyt". They show the punch stats and I'm like :ohhh: Floyd landed 157 punches, 99 of them jabs (which led me to believe his hand was still hurt). Castillo lands 173 power punches to Floyd's 67 I think. Then the scorecards come out and I'm like :childplease:. I have no doubt Arum pulled some strings as Floyd "then" was his cash cow in the making. Floyd indeed was hurt in that fight and he beat Castillo with rather ease in the rematch, but Floyd got a gift in the 1st fight. Not a blowout by any means by Castillo, but seeing the fight several times myself I still give it to Castillo 7 rounds to 5.

I think floyd was slipping , catching and blocking a lotta shots they scored as landed. I myself had it 7/8to 5/4 for Floyd. I think the ugliness of the fight led people to thinking it was closer than it was.

. I usually re-watch A bunch of Floyd's fights before his matches and Castillo 1 and 2 are always amongst those I view so I will be watching it again soon doubt I'll see anything different from the other half dozen times but : ehh:
