Genuine question for the old heads:

Would Kareem be just as good in this current NBA as he was in the 80s?

Guys like MJ, Kobe, Bron, Magic I feel would be great in any era no matter what style of play was in fashion

Dude keeps flip-flopping:

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt though and take his word on this recent list being how he really feels.

He's been hard on Duncan lately, something must have happened

But yet those skills couldn't get him out of round 1 in the playoffs in the east :heh:

T-mac was taller and probably more athletic but that was it. Eating cake has nothing to do with facts

how far did kobe get in the playoffs without being on stacked teams?

youre proving my point and you don't even realize it.

Further than T-Mac even when T-Mac had allstar teammate you serious:heh:

How am I proving your point when you don't have one???? you the only one bringing up T-Mac being more skilled when he clearly wasn't :heh:

He'd be just as unstoppable on offense. I've never seen him play defense on the perimeter so I have no clue how he'd do on those High ball screens.

only all-star teammate I remember t-mac having, was a guy who didn't even play half the time, and most of his all-star appearances came via fan votes from another continent.

how was t-mac not more skilled when he could take over a game better than kobe without icing his teammates? and he could do everything kobe could, while being bigger & more athletic. kobe was more dedicated & determined. only thing he actually did better than t-mac was play defense, which falls under that category.

why isn't Marbury listed as a top 10 PG? why aren't kemp & amare seen as top 10 PFs?
if its just about skill, then we're free to put penny & grant hill on our goat lists, right? derrick rose gotta be somewhere in there too. who cares if they got hurt?

Ok.....it's Kobe over Kareem now:francis:....so it's Kobe over Bill Russell now.....:francis:.......so it's Kobe over Wilt now:francis:

GTFOH......:russ:

I don't know what's more pathetic....the constant need to bolster you all's lame opinion that Kobe is a better player than Bron chimin in on every word any current or ex NBA player may say to support said opinion:hhh:.....or THE COMPLETE disregard of players CLEARLY better than Kobe just to support Kobe......shyt is wack as fukk, fukk outta here:snoop:

Argue with Robert Horry, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, and countless other players that have Kobe top 2-3 all-time.

I'm just some random guy with an opinion. You don't need to believe me. But when Kobe's peers say he's among the top 2-3 to ever play the game, that means something.

Listen to the entire interview. He even said himself that his opinion changes based on how he's feeling. He said you could catch him the next day and he would say Kobe is the GOAT.

And he still didn't do shyt

Stop before I turn this into a shyt on T-Mac thread. He was a great offensive player but he was not Kobe. Accept it, youre the only one thinking about T-Mac.

Horry said Kobe, not Tracy and he never crossed his mind probably. Accept it
