Floyd is currently the best of OUR generation....not overall. And yes, like @krackdagawd said, B-Hop can definitely surpass him and Pacquiao by beating Adonis Stevenson and Sergey Kovalev. Hell, Floyd can STILL be passed by Manny Pacquiao depending on who Pacquiao fights once the Cold War ends.
Manny already has the best resume of this era.

Yes, we will discuss the fighters that WE'VE seen, however, a true boxing fan will never waver on a Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, or Henry Armstrong as FIXTURES in the top 5.

There is absolutely nothing Floyd Mayweather Jr can do to enter into the discussion of the GOAT when those 4 are there. It's too late.

Best he can do is to hope to continue winning, beating elite fighters, and hope Manny and B-Hop loses some more. Because both Floyd and Manny are in the top 15-20 range while B-Hop is around 20-25 and creeping
