I'm reading everywhere that he announced it on ellen yesterday.
And then he announced it differently on letterman the same day breh so he's lying in one place
Well, that didn't last long. Just hours after appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and replying "okay, yes" when asked by Ellen if there is going to be an Iron Man 4, Robert Downey Jr. taped "Late Show with David Letterman" and said the complete opposite.
"There's no plans for an 'Iron Man 4,'" he said. "There's no script for 'Iron Man 4,' but they do have a plan and I think they're gonna announce it. You know, [Marvel's] very secretive about it." After Letterman later brought up the subject again, he added, "just between us, no, but I'm gonna do other stuff with Marvel. I'm still going to be involved with Marvel and there's gonna be plenty of fun stuff to happen."

Who said IM 2 was great? I haven't gone through the thread because I knew it would be filled with Iron Man 3 bashing which would then devolve into something else entirely

But when the last 2 have been pretty much instant classics what difference does it make?That's like complaining about the Seahawks still being a struggle team even though they just made a NFCC and Superbowl appearance. If you want to count Days of Future Past, the last 3 Marvel movies have been universally seen as dope to classic

3 is definitely better than it in terms of plot, direction, characters, villains, character development, action set-pieces etc. The twist alone was >>> 2. What does he even do in the second one? one minute Whiplash fight. They changed everything up in the third one and actually listened to the criticism the first two got. Such as repetitive armored villains/clones and a person who wants his tech, company or to dethrone him. The action was also creative.
