I've really tried with a lot of these new guys.....but its such a NICHE sound.
I get why it doesn't translate. AT ALL.
Its not even the content; people will rock out to shyt they can't relate 2 at all. It just isn't "musical" from a traditional standpoint.
The deliveries and voices of the biggest drill NYC rappers is really not pleasing to the ears.
You basically have to commit to listening 2 it; and most people want easy music.
Honestly some of that shyt could give you a panic attack....between the weird beats and flows its straight anxiety
