Mate, they literally used UK Drill beats and UK producers. It's not a hill to die on and be a dicchead about. A bunch of NY drill rappers collabed back in 16-18 when NY drill was first bubbling and a lot of NY Drill rappers have appeared on UK Drill music platforms. If you don't know then you don't know, but learn to stfu when you're being taught facts.

Except they didn’t know they were using UK drill beats or producers because those beat makers uploaded their beats as “type beats” on YouTube and they were usually named after Chicago drill rappers and producers mostly G Herbo and DJ L.

I’m sure we’ve been through this before though and you want the UK to get “credit” or whatever. It’s cool that a bridge was able to be built and NY artists are able to eat over there and have it as one of their bigger markets. It’s no beef but this was pure coincidence and less of NY studying or actively listening to UK hip-hop.

It’s all good though nikkas don’t use those beats or rap over UK producers anymore.

nikka why are you so defensive about this shyt. A fact is a fact. NY is the birthplace and origin of hip hop. NY drill was born from a hybrid of Chicago rap influence and UK style drill beats. nikkas was literally late to the party. It’s ok. It has evolved to a more unique NY style instead of just a mash up of Chicago influenced rapping and UK drill beats.
