Ex-engineers say the site is just coasting right now. Hackers could be working to literally delete the whole site and it's entire history and there will be no one there to stop them.

Something will eventually break anyone that's ever worked for a tech company knows this. A minor update to iOS, oSX, Android, or Windows can make it inaccessible lol. Not to mention some sort of server issue will happen eventually.

Everyone claiming Twitter while the site continues to operate as normal with nothing actually changing. The fact that the site is still running shows you that the people he fired added nothing to the company. They were probably playing ping pong and drinking lattes all day.

Twitter isn't really the product, the people who post on twitter are and make the site what it is. It has been used to coordinate during protests and revolutions all over the world multiple times. It's the first place a large number of people go to get breaking news. And a lot of news breaks on Twitter before it's posted anywhere else.

All the issues you outlined are caused by people, not Twitter itself. All Twitter did was give those who push degeneracy a small microphone. It just turns out that there are a lot of degenerates walking among us who put those microphones together to create multiple big ones.

We need to remember that social media is kinda still in it's infancy. If Twitter truly does die (which I doubt) it's going to be a huge setback for the development of social media.

Twitter was great and it's up to the user if they want it to be trash. Twitter created an algorithm around your likes and posts and curates your feed based on your activity. I always question when people find trash on twitter because it's mostly based on your activity, so people usually are telling on themselves or seeking out negative stuff.
