Ain't nobody bigger than this thing called life. R.I.P. to our kings taken far too soon.

Reminds me this time, I was in Japan like four years ago and randomly in a store Virgil was giving autographs and shyt. He was actually cool as shyt. Like a quiet people's champ. That whole Chicago skate / art scene made crazy impact.

breh who the hell enters a RIP thread to crap on someone? Its like entering the theead of DMX dying and saying you didnt like his music wtf

I never said anything negative about him in this thread… that post was a response to a question I was asked.

R.I.P. to slim… I was talkin’ big shyt about him and his fam awhile back all the while window shopping off-white shoes. :francis:

You never know what people are going thru.

I even admitted that I shouldn’t have been talking shyt about him and his family earlier in the thread but u didn’t bother reading my first post before u jumped the gun.

I got a few of his designs from his work with Nike and Jordan brand. He was a nice DJ as well. I know we don’t know these celebs personally but you become invested in them through their work. I enjoyed his fashion designs and listening to his speeches about life and creation and being creative. And to think he was fighting terminal cancer while designing for Nike, LV and Off white and a host of other projects. It’s inspiring. He used all of his remaining time left. Much respect to him. Rest well sir
