Would your opinion be different if you knew he was ill?

I personally didn’t care for his designs, and I’m not going to change my opinion. However, this is unfortunate news, and my condolences to his family friends, and fans.
I didn’t agree with his viewpoints at the time and still don’t but I just woulda held my tongue instead of tryna get off jokes at his expense.

I don’t know him as a person, but he never came across as someone who would want to be treated with kid gloves. I assume that was also a reason why he didn’t disclose his illness. I also get the impression that he thrived in the controversy of what he said and the work he produced.

Respectfully I don’t know why people are trying to make others feel bad for criticising his designs and choices, just because we now know he was ill.

This isn’t even remotely comparable to Chadwick…Where people were questioning and running jokes about his appearance whilst he battled his illnes.

Virgils appearance was never at the forefront of any “hate”, criticism or memes regarding his sometimes questionable and thought provoking work.

Virgil wasn’t above criticism and in cases didn’t help himself.

Let’s not suddenly jump on our moral high horses today…And simply away from the fact we’ve lost a talented individual to the evil that is cancer.

RIP Virgil and thank you for your contributions.
Well Said
