Name one part of my statement that's wrong...if you can't you should really shut the fukk up...

Everything you said is utterly retarded. I gave you a pass before since you are on team Jew but your statements in here are beyond reprehensible. Americans are soft and ignorant since we remember a tragedy from 13 years ago that still affects us today? Were we soft when we replied to these attacks with two large wars and a new era of drone strikes? This was an attack that only Pearl Harbor could match on US soil. If you don't see the significance of it, read a book dummy.

To this day I wonder when we will have a memorial for the civilians we killed in Iraq
they are people too
they had families and stories about weddings
they had passions and hopes
they watched their lives get burnt asunder
they are people too
could it be that the humanity of the 911 victims could only be enhanced and truly enshrined when we viscerally recognize the humanity of the Iraqi victims? I believe so

I would think it would be on Iraq to have memorials for their own people. We bombed Japan and then became good friends with them yet they don't have a memorial here.

What were yall doing when you first saw/heard about it?

I was in my car stuck in early rush hour traffic headed to class. I never play the radio, but on that one day I happened to be because I had recently bought a new car and the cable for my CD changer was still in my old car.

I heard about a plane hitting the WTC on multiple stations. Heard the reaction to the second plane hitting in real time on the station. The DJ's were like "OH MY GOD!" :damn:

Got to class and talked about it to some people. One chick said her dad works in the WTC and started crying and walked out. They canceled all classes. Me and this white hippie type dude I knew sat in my car on campus and smoked some dro for a minute with the radio playing. Then we heard they hit the Pentagon too, like :damn: these dudes ain't playing! Drove home and watched the planes hitting over and over with my mom in disbelief. It was time to go to work a few hours later. Drove past some jackasses in the street with signs talking about Jesus is coming back and judgment day is coming and :smh:

Got to work. I was working at a large call center with a lot of employees at the time. We made no calls that day, so there was a lot of time to sit around and talk. There was a mix of people of different ages and backgrounds and beliefs and some intense conversations took place. There was this fat white Christian fundie guy who was about on age with me who was getting on everyone's nerves because he just ranted about how this was all Clinton's fault and how we need to blow up the middle east. They showed Palestinians cheering in the street and he said we should bomb them for it. This other white dude got pissed and gave him that work verbally.

This one almost but not quite midget middle-aged light-skinned dude with a napoleon complex was getting heated with anyone who dared to say anything negative about U. S. foreign policy and was saying America never does anything wrong. He was really out of pocket. My boy who was militant pro-black type was looking like he was very close to smacking him.

This Egyptian guy who was mad cool was pissed because he said he went into a Publix with his fam--his mom and his sister had their heads covered --and some white bytch in the store started yelling at him that they did this.

About 6 of us went in a jeep in the parking garage and got blazed up on our break.

I hung with a small group of pro black type dudes at work at the time. We used to chop it up about politics and social issues all the time. I chilled with them after work. We got high (again) and had the TV on mute showing the attack footage and freestyled over beats. I was probably more "militant" and anti-establishment at the time than I am now, but my friends were a lot more "militant" than me because they were straight up cheering the attacks and joking about in freestyles. The dude who I mentioned earlier that was arguing with the light-skinned patriotic midget said he was going to wear an I love Osama Bin Laden t-shirt to work. I felt funny about that shyt. I was aware that U. S. foreign policy fueled the attacks, but I wasn't going to cheer or mock innocent people dying. I didn't say much though.

I gave daps, and headed home. The main chick I was fukking with at the time called and came through. She wasn't interested in talking about it too much. She just wanted to smoke and fukk and that was cool with me. She left around 3 am and I went to sleep.

That day is still vivid to me. It was the most important world event of a generation, and I listened to so many different perspectives on it from a diverse group of people that day. I was still a youngster at age 21 with a worldview that was still evolving. It was a pivotal moment.

R.I.P. to the victims.

How is killing over a million people in response to 3000 deaths a sign of being soft?

More idiots in Higher Learning :blessed:
The whole "remembering" of 9/11 is a waste of time...and propaganda...most people dnt give a Damn bout it...it was used as an excuse to bankrupt our country with 2 bullshyt wars...3000 people dying in that event is loose change compared to how it wrecked our economy...moving on...
