There ain't no real Bloods in the Bay. Mess wasn't even from Fillmoe or SF, period. He was born in Pittsburg and went to school in Concord. 
Fillmoe nikkas took Mess in because that was San Quinn cousin. Mess would have been dead if he still lived in the Bay for being a turf hopper. But nikkas get lured into a false sense of security in the Bay because we ain't no haters where I'm from and we fukk with everybody regardless of race/where you from/what you look like etc., but nikkas is still some savs. nikkas will be friendly as fukk, break bread and show hella love only to murk your ass the next day. 
nikkas think because Frisco is so pretty, the weather is so nice and the weed and food is so good and that there are so few black folks left in the hood because of gentrification that shyt isn't all that bad when in reality it's still turfed out and most nikkas is with the shyt. Oakland is another story. Especially Deep East Oakland where this happened. 
The Boy boy Mess was hella fake. He lost all respect in the Bay when he started claiming that Blood shyt.
I did a interview with Quinn couple years ago. Off record, I asked him what really went on. Bottomline...Mess head got bigger than it should and started going foul, overlooking the fact Quinn got him a pass in Frisco.
