These kids will never know that feeling of waking up Saturday morning and rushing to the TV to see some goat cartoons. Remember when dbz was on fox super early in the morning? I caught that shyt on accident and my mind was blown. Ever since I used to damn near cry if I didn't wake up in time to catch that shyt. It set my Saturdays off so right.

Yeah brehs it really is over. :to:

All those cartoons, and then NBC's teen shows like Saved By The Bell: New Class, Hang Time, that beach show, and City Guys.

C I T Y
You can see why
these guys, the neat guys, smart and streetwise

:mjcry:

Y'all remember that shytty show on fox that was set in a spooky castle that was a High School?
When NBC started doing that teen block only and stopped showing kids cartoons I knew that was the beginning of the end. I was pretty much grown by then but those teen joints weren't that appealing. I watched them, but they didn't have the same draw as Saved by the Bell. I did fukk with Hangtime though.
From 6:30 to 12 was Cartoons and then Wrestling from 12 to 1....

Then if there was no dopness on Channel 9 or Channel 11 in terms of afternoon movies, it was outside you go to play. Unless it was too cold, then you stayed in and watched whatever movies was on. Terminator...American Ninja....Kickboxer....Bloodsport...Indiana Jones...Big Trouble in Little China...Predator

And I don't even want to talk about those Saturday afternoon basketball ball games the NBA on NBC

Then Stark Trek TNG came on in the evening

fukk brehs....what the fukk happend???? :wow:
Damn, I remember the wrestling superstars cartoon with Hogan and Junkyard Dog, Rowdy Roddy Piper and the crew. I remember when Captain N the game master and Prostars debuted. I also remember how as a kid you never when your favorite cartoon was getting canceled. You would be sitting the waiting for your joint to come on next then they would above some other shyt coming up and you'd be stuck looking at the tv like :patrice::dwillhuh::camby: "Where the fukk is Jordan and Bo at?" :birdman:

waking up at 6 in the morning just to beat the rest of my family to the tv since we only had one was a must every saturday

I used to be able to get up that early without the need of an alarm :leon:

Id watch Fox but CBS and ABC had some good line ups as well

Sonic A.M. :blessed:

there was a dedication to this. I remember we went to disney world when I was 8 and they wanted to get their early....

No, Batman is on:aicmon:

its easy to see how one could sit in front of the TV for hours on end back then :smugdraper:

Cartoons, WWF Superstars, WMAC Masters, DBZ before the Funimation dub, Kung Fu Theater, and so on:damn:

dont know how I managed that much television in a day and still was able to play on my genesis and play outside:leon:
