I know Everybody Loves the Sunshine is his most recognizable song but here's a version from 1997 he made with a German collective called Soul Society. Discovered it a few years back and it's gotten more play than the OG. Unfortunately, it's not on streaming

I am kinda behind on RIP's, tbh didnt really feel like posting them. I must oblige though. These are some of my favorite artists. Roy Ayers? OMG. We did a video montage of my father in law at his funeral and the music was "Everybody Loves The Sunshine". this is such a freaking powerful and emotional song. I am sure they will play this at his proceedings. RIP to a GOAT. Did yall see him on TinyDesk? I play his greatest hits regularly.
