Why I love the song purple rain, Its a song about all those times in your life when you didn't tell someone you loved them enough or the times you couldn't keep your composure and said something's that you didn't mean, eventually these thoughts come to you when your looking down at a casket or that someone you cared for is no longer in your life anymore. We as humans will all eventually do or say things in our lifetime, were not proud of, the least we can do is take time to say sorry for the sins we have done or will commit unknowingly in the future. Like rain by the end of the song its as though those feelings wash away and we are left looking at our life in a new retrospect. The color Purple in itself is made up of 2 colors blue and red, could be synonymous with the both good times and the bad, heaven and hell, sometimes we pray for rain, sometimes its a nuisance to us getting caught in it, but it happens.
