Prince wrote and produced most of The Times shyt.

i know. just my personal opinion. i didnt know him personally so i only go off of what i know from music, shows and seeing him speak. never was a fan. he seemed like an a$$hole to me. he was rude, had an attitude and didnt use his celebrity or platform for good till last yeas with trayvon martin which i salute him for. other than that what positivity or charitable work has he done? please inform me

good riddance to bad rubbish i say. hell hes been currupting the youth since the 80's. maybe we can get past this and do better. his music was ight. he aint f*ckin with morris day tho
Morris only wrote two songs for Prince "High School" & "Party Up" One was only a Time song. The other one was the song Prince bought off Morris to get his band record deal with Warners. In short, Prince is Morris's shadow musically in every sense of the word.

What kind of bewildering logic is THAT? :francis:

Seeing all this tribute shyt on TV so I guess I have to concede that he is gone. It doesn't make sense as much as it does. You know. I've always seen a reflection of myself in Prince just from one scene in Purple Rain...that ill nikka in the basement with loud ass piece meal system and a big ass bag of doritoes, tripping off my crazy ass parents and/or plotting on some ass. With this I feel like we've reached the end of something. I don't know what but something. RIP to the best to do it bar none...

Have a feeling this Coachella weekend will be pretty special. I was there last weekend and those acts, especially Ellie Goulding,Rae Sremmurd, James Bey and Ice Cube can all put on a set. Won't be shocked if they pay Prince a proper tribute. May be too early for some of them to prepare though.

It's just that, similar to MJ, Prince has been around all our lives. Especially if you grew up in a musical environment, and you were part of that target audience when he was super relevant. Yea, it's weird and not in a good way. It's a very lonely and creepy feeling

:deadrose:@ the conspiracy theories already.

and :dead:@ so many people all over the place suddenly acting like big-time fans that actually knew and truly appreciated his talent and contributions to music (outside of his big singles, if even that much) the whole time. i mean, not just on the coli...but all over the place. like, folks who literally never saw or tried/wanted to/watched on youtube/even thought about ever going to a prince concert talking about "OMG he was the GOAT performer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and shyt. :comeon:

shut the fukk up already. a man died. one that you didn't give a fukk about it before now. stop trying to be trendy on social media. :camby:
