One of my BFF's is JW and her whole family has no problem taking meds, never came across one who was anti-medicine.

Anyway, damn shame the main hippo station out here - kmel - is the only "urban"/black station not playing a prince tribute. Hot 105 and the 90's/00 hip hop station got their mixes going as well as OG kblx

Grew up JW myself, no issues with taking medicine. Like the other cat said though, blood, is an entirely different subject.

I'm wondering if age and touring caught up with him. I'm sure getting over pneumonia and the lifestyle of a musician with Prince's stature don't go well together. His immune system was probably teetering.
