They had so many titles to put out, they put out the entire paisley park shows when they opened the doors to the listening public in 1994. They waited until the shows were over for the summer & released that shyt in box sets.
Those labels were feeding the fans. They would even get bootlegged for being so good by other bootleggers. Bootleg the bootleg
I only bought a few, shyt was expensive
They had soooo many fukking titles and that's because Prince neglected it all. He finally released a live box set but it wasn't competing with the decade plus the bootleggers put in. And these people couldn't be caught! They had the inside track with the sound crew that worked for Prince for live venues paying them top dollar.
Paisley Park could've done one every 2 months, sold it for 50 a show & they would run out of stock so fast. Now? shyt would sell so fast if they decided to start up another label that just specialized in live material. .
