So far I'm just missing The Family, Jill Jones and Eric Leeds. He was so prolific in the work he did with his artists. If you consider that he is the sole-songwriter on most of those works, even most of the time playing every note of every instrument it's really amazing if you were to think of this man as a producer.

Imagine if some record exec was like "Listen kid, you will never make it as an entertainer, you don't have the look. Better get a job behind the scenes. That's where your true talent is" :smugfavre:

Max Martin is said to be the most successful pop songwriter in the last 20 years . . but is he as PROLIFIC as Prince? He has the most #1 records of anyone who's not a Beatle . . but most of them are shared writing and production credits between himself and 1-5 collaborators. He's always worked with a team.

Prince was doing absolutely everything. I can't point to a higher form of genius. He is a true virtuoso
