Edit: that interview was with Soren Baker, right above my post.

With this and the death of Ecstasy from Whodini, it reminds you how under appreciated the first major Hip Hop acts are. Run DMC, Whodini, and the Fat Boys were the first superstars ever in Hip Hop. I think with the Golden Age of the late 80’s with Ra, Kane, KRS then Hip Hop becoming the number 1 selling music art form by the late 90’s, those acts got overlooked crazy.

RIP

Any info on cause of death.I heard when fat ppl lose a lot of weight it can actually make their heart worse cuz the heart got use to working to pump blood where they need it. So they lose weight and the heart continues to work just as hard, but its really overworking and causing new issues.

RIP Prince Markie Dee :mjcry:

part of the Golden Age even tho the Fat Boys never took themselves too seriously. They paved the way for rappers in movies when they did Disorderlies.

Then Markie gave his career a second wind in the 90s with Swing My Way. This joint was my shyt as a young breh. Early 50s is just way too damn young.

Peace to this man
