Thats just a technicallity.
Whenever someone else is involved in a person dying it is manslaughter. Involuntary or otherwise.
That doesn't mean Rey or anybody else is in trouble. It wasn't intentional and Mexico is heavy into their wrestling.

What might happen though, is the Mexican equivalent of Fox News is gonna emphasize that the match wasn't immediately stopped, and speculate on whether he could of been saved had things been done differently. They'll try and hold the organization accountable on morale grounds, and maybe the family will sue. Thats what would happen in the US anyway.

NVM @AnotherRoute disregard, @notPsychosiz dropped knowledge.

They knew he was out, but being unconscious is not that big of a deal. He was breathing, it appeared to be a minor hit, the match was 1 or 2 minutes from the finish. I think they would of stopped it if he had done an aerial manuever and hurt himself, but the likelyhood of him being seriously injured from what appeared to be a pretty soft dropkick is so left field they just didn't think he was hurt, I don't believe.
They actually adusted to allow the outside person to check on him. Thats why the other dude set himself up to take the 619 instead. As soon as they realized he was out the other wrestlers adjusted so he wasn't involved in any of the spots anymore and took turns trying to check on him and wake him up. Several different people are actually attending to him in that 2 minutes it takes to finish the match.
This was handled better than the owen situation and also when Taz broke his neck and was holding his neck at ringside til the match was over and nobody helped him at all. He said in an interview after the match he walked to the hospital and the doctor asked him who was with him to fill out the forms, and Taz said nobody he walked there, and the doctor said that is impossible- you have a broken neck.

Man, this is just a messed up situation all around though.

It's hard to tell anything from the video, like some have said when he rolls back into the ring he moves so slow it could already be that he's hurting, or he could just be selling. All of it is just speculation emphasizing that this is pretty much as the title says, a tragic freak accident.

I think when rey made that move that threw him out the ring was what started it. You can tell he's body kinda locked up.

Have Watched some footage of El Hijo Del Perro Aguayo thru YouTube, was very popular in Mexico...

Feel really bad for Rey as well, a really good guy in the industry, a freak accident like this is so sad

RIP
