:mjcry: Haven't been this sad about a famous figure passing since Madiba... this death was one of the big ones
He transcended sports and he put those cacs in their place in the 60s:ufdup:and his friendship with Malcolm unsettled them.

just got off the phone with my pops...he is crushed about it...he's from ali's generation...he is 5 years younger than him....he idolized him (and also James Brown)...many Nigerians of his generation did..told me some of the stories again...how he used to talk like him (with the African accent and all :lolbron:)...say the same of the shyt when he was competing in track, tennis, and table tennis lol...he met Ali when he was doing amateur boxing back in his college days in the early 70s...he was up all night watching Ali stuff on TV like I was...I didn't go to sleep until like 4 in the morning man..I had to pop a melatonin for that...still only got about 3 hours..its sinking in...that one of the greatest people of all time to walk this earth (no hyperbole brehs) has returned back to the essence :wow:...::mjcry:
