I use Google Play Music every day

Me too. I love it. I'm waiting on my email to transfer my playlists and my uploaded music to YT. Once that happens i'm good. GM, you could tell it wasnt being supported and just needed to be updated. Since Google owns Youtube, the writing was on the wall.

Is there an alternate app that is similar to google play? Youtube music doesnt allow you to play music with the screen off in the free version so thats a no go for me

Google is the worst at maintaining apps. Theyre always trying to kill shyt. YTM is awful. I dont want my music integrated with my youtube account. YTM doesnt even have all the music gpm does either

Damn guess I'm late to the party. I uploaded so much music to Google play music over the years that you can't find anywhere anymore or that isn't available on streaming sites. So are they getting rid of play music permanently?
