there's a lot of stuff i listen to that will never be on streaming services. aint no old ron g mixtapes, no dj clue mixtapes, certain gucci mane mixtapes, dj screw and shyt like that. i got enough shyt i dont need no new music...

I think it came about to add some accountability to how much music people upload to standard youtube.

Whenever I'm allowed to do the transfer I'm going to try it out. Might have to start checking out if I'm going to pay for spotify or apple music soon

Google is the worst at maintaining apps. Theyre always trying to kill shyt. YTM is awful. I dont want my music integrated with my youtube account. YTM doesnt even have all the music gpm does either

i stopped investing my time and energy into using their new products years ago, I avoided a lot of aggravation that way. i think Wave and rss reader was the final straw.

I'm this shyt here was hurtful and unnecessary.

If I can't transfer all my shyt to YTM for free and keep it pushing I might dead Google man...

It sucks cause I love all their shyt but they too unreliable when it comes to keeping services I like up to date

Edit this interface is smooth . The song to video switch is seamless

with the youtube brand I can see this being the one that lasts for a while

I'll give YTM a chance but mostly because with my GPM you get YT Premium for free but if not for that I would just switch to Spotify. GPM was simple and easy to use, it was clean looking, I'm not a fan of this. Still waiting for the ability to transfer my shyt over

Bruh...going from years of premium YouTube to that trash ass ad supported version is ROUGH...shyt feels like poverty lol...multiple full on stoppages of videos to force play 30 second long ads bout shyt I don’t give a fifth of a shyt about

Should had just renamed Google Play Music, YouTube Music. I much prefer Google Play Music interface.

I said this a while back, Google Play is a horrible name. Google Play Music, Google Play Books, Google Play Store all sound fukking stupid af.

Google is commonly using as a verb, not just a noun, so when talking to someone that's not familiar with the service, they misunderstood what's you're saying and think you're saying to go SEARCH for something, and then the word PLAY, basically you have two verbs, GOOGLE and PLAY as the brand, no wonder none of these services took off. iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud, Beats, Apple Music all sounds better.
