The green belts gone :leon:

On the weekly they're putting out a better show than Vince, for everyone wondering why they still exist.
That would be implying that a good in ring product = ratings = more revenue which we know isn't true. They are producing better shows than Vince all right but that's not why they are still in existence if it was they wouldn't be on an obscure channel as pop tv. And constantly looking for financial backers every month

Anthem obviously believes if they pump cash into this it will become something. Same thing Panda energy and the Jarretts thought. I'm not saying Impact isn't a lemon, but it's a lemon on 22 inch rims with fresh paint.

If they do move to Canada that will be a shrewd move, the product could really do with a change of scenery and use fans that care about rasslin

Ain't nothing official yet but it seems to be where they're heading. Makes no sense for Anthem to keep offices & stuff in Nashville when their based up there & their already running it at a loss.

I dunno... Ontario is sort of starving for wrestling other than the usual Smash events.

They may fukk around in Ottawa and revitalize Impact :lupe:
when I move back to the east coast in a couple of weeks I might fvck around and get myself a job on the writers team and revitalize Impact:lupe:

They film everything there as part of the park, they had their offices & stuff in Nashville still. I think that stuff closed up at some point to though & they ran everything out of the warehouse where they kept all their merch.

Cornette is banned from Canada. Just like how Jeff and Booker can't go.

Jim Cornette is banned from Canada and will likely not be at Bound For Glory/Impact Wrestling tapings | Wrestling News

Cornette explained everything several months ago on an episode of The Jim Cornette Experience podcast.

“The last time I went a few years ago for a Ring Of Honor show I’m driving with my wife Stacy and I’m driving in my own vehicle which is registered to me.” He said that got to the US/Canadian border and then was told to pull over to the side and his car was searched. They did not have any weapons, drugs or any other prohibited items but they decided to pull up Cornette’s legal history and stuff from the 1980’s came up including arrests for assault. He noted that he never spent a day in jail and was never sentenced to anything and explained, “I was a bad guy wrestler. I got a bunch of assaults and various things.” The authorities determined that he was not legally allowed to go into the country. Nevermind the fact that Cornette had been traveling to Canada for years and these issues were never raised.

It's like fans wanting TNA to move to the UK it's one thing to draw a great crowd because you visit once a year. Burning out that crowd won't take much.
