Damn. I remember when I just used to lurk the forum and he was one of the funnier, entertaining posters I used to see. One of the reasons I signed up.

R.I.P brother. Always had memorable interactions.

they saying Char was homeless? If that's true man, that's really sad. I hope the young brehs on here use this as a lesson and not just have fun on here but also build with each other and look out for each other. I know its Wishful thinking.
Imagine us turning this into a branch where we can network and help our brothers and sisters out (all playful banter aside) instead of tearing each other down. :wow:

I mean that dude roasted me on the IC and made up some bullshyt about getting burnt by some loony bytch on here but I never harbored any type of animosity towards him. I hope his family is ok.

Despite whatever circumstances @charmander had faced in his life, or he was facing -- I cannot be moved from the thought that he would've done great things in the future. Don't mistake that as some ideal he didn't already accomplish some great feats with his time. The outpouring of love and admiration, and the impact on 1000's of people here is wholly indication that he did; yet he would've done even more. There's this axiom about life: you learn how to live life by living; if you live long enough. Given his prose, charm, wit, and overall intelligence, he would've put the pieces together in time. Hell, in the "Ain't I" thread that's in the rafters he mentioned a seminal work by Nietzsche that I'd never even heard of, and one of my majors in undergrad was philosophy. For full disclosure, I attended one of the best colleges in the country, so I know his was a grand intellect.

In what capacity that intellect would've manifested itself in his life, I don't know. I'm just certain that it would have. I'm glad that he got to share fragments of it with us through his musings and comedy. I'd like to think he's somewhere waiting on you all that were closest to him with a smile and a joke at the ready. :mjcry:

RIP Jared/Charmander. :mjcry:
In Catullus 101 the Roman poet adresses his dead brother who dies prematurely with the famous words, Ave Atque Vale, hail my brother and farewell. Catullus speaks to his brother's "muted ashes" as all that remains as evidence of his brothers existence.

These threads and jokes are all most of us will ever have that Charmander existed but that makes it no less real.
Hail Charmander and farewell...

I remember when I first came on here, he posted a lot of pics in the pic thread and would have us rolling with his 'long hair don't care' and his hair looking like a lion mane, and his dirty mirror talking about living in the sticks. He was funny as hell.

He didn't deserve to go out like that . RIP Char.

Unbelievably sad!!:stopitslime:

They took this young brother from his family, friends and us posters. We cannot deny there is a certain connection and camaraderie amongst us, so we feel pain, agony, hurt, and anger. God bless his family and close ones. Some of us been posting with each other for 15+ years, we lost a brother. :to:
