I would hope they would retire that character for a long time if not forever. If there has to be another Black Panther have it be a different character. It's messed up. He really had next for the MCU. So much life left unlived at 42.
The first one showed how multiple people could be the black panther - ie killmonger becoming the panther. So I’m sure they’ll have something happen to t’challah and replace him. But it would’ve been nice to get 2-3 Boseman black panther films.

Yeah Marvel probably knew.

Could explain the lack of information regarding BP2
Marvel 100% knew, they’d have to with his fitness/nutrition plan ect along with the Operations and procedures between movies ect..He was already diagnosed before Infinity War, End Game & Black Panther were filming

Also wild how hard he trained/bulked and got cut for BP while also having cancer and getting treatment. That had to be umpteen times as hard to do.

I remember people joking about him looking tired of promoting BP and doing the whole Wakanda forever thing, and most of us who watched that Kevin Heart special laughed at how disinterested he seemed in Kev’s movie....now I assume that was just him tired of his battle. :(

this is what’s been fukking with my mind all day, most people don’t have the strength for the normal day to day when chemo is kicking the shyt out of them, this guy bulked on the Marvel diet while having colon cancer and pushed through 3 Marvel movies (4?) along with a few others...such a fukking inspiration

TYRONE GA!
Lost my uncle and grandpa to colon cancer. Been doing colonoscopies since my early 20s but I’m still pretty sure it’s how I’m gonna go out.

RIP Chadwick. Life is a lot of things but it is definitely not fair.

:damn:

I'm Seriously considering doing early screening now myself.

My family is more diabetes, stroke, hypertension. No member that I know who passed had the Big C.

That portal scene in Endgame already is kind of a emotional if you comic book geek

Now with T'Challa being the first one who appears its gonna hit all kinds of different:mjcry:
Just thinking about those scenes in BP and Infinity war gonna make me all :mjcry: The end scene with him looking at the little kid after he asks who are you. :mjcry:
