fukk this year. I remember noticing his weight loss in 21 Bridges and the tabloids getting photos of him in a wheelchair outside of a hospital...I was hoping that it wasn’t anything serious.

Was it ever reported he had the big C? I never heard/read it about it. :mindblown:
The only public thing was when he was rushed to the ER a few months ago. They kept it under wraps which is a tough thing to do these days. He probably chose to keep it personal. All these Marvel movies the past few years must’ve been so difficult to get through but he did it.

This hurts, man. fukk. I’ll never forget the feeling I had when the first trailer for Civil War dropped finally seeing Black Panther come to life, the 2 year hype waiting to see him in own film and then getting to see Wakanda in all its glory. As a grown man, it was one of these rare times where I felt like a kid again. And then to see the impact it had on my nephews and younger cousins. I was literally at the house with them two Sundays ago, and they put on BP and were acting out their favorite parts. And to know he filmed all this stuff while dealing with this the whole time? Man. I couldn’t imagine.

Rest In Peace, King :salute:

I'm glad he got to experience the highs of Black Panther. That movie was revolutionary. I'll never forget how the movie theater I was in watching End Game went absolutely CRAZY when he walked out of the portal with the Wakanda chant :mjcry:

RIP to a great actor. I enjoyed seeing him in literally everything I saw him in. 42 was a great watch too.
