that's the guy playing vader at the end of the film when they take the mask off as hes dyeing - at the end of the film when they are celebrating that's who Luke see in the og films

which makes more sense cause why would he envision his father as a young man ..

vader like played by like three actors in the og films

Here's all I'll say about Shaw vs Hayden Force ghost at the end of Jedi in THIS thread at least.

I prefer Hayden's. But I think both work.
Can choose Shaw over Hayden because Luke never saw his young father. How's he just supposed to know it's him?

But also... I feel like the last time we truly saw Anakin was as Hayden. When he got old he didn't have hair or Jedi robes. I get it that Obi-Wan or maybe even Qui-Gon didn't come back as scarred up Force ghosts but still. Coming back with a look he never had? I can see it making sense back then but with prequels out? That's why I side with Hayden but there's good points for both.

After the debates it sparked and fans claiming lucas did all the special editions as a cash grab i accepted the Hayden force ghost since that was a jedi technique and it represented his redemption or ascenscion into the light side again
