This is what I posted on my Instagram/Facebook. I still feel like I haven't done justice but I can go on n on.
Rest in Peace, Queen Carrie Fisher. Or to us in this lifestyle you've helped create "Princess Leia." Star Wars... I can go whole days only talking about Star Wars. It's more than just movies to me. It's my lifestyle. Star Wars, as silly as it may sound, is everything I've held dear about faith and hope, good and bad, for as long as I can remember. And sometimes I wasn't always good. But I like to think I've grown since then. Star Wars shaped my life choices. And I still struggle to find the balance. The Force will guide me. I know. And the movies are so good and so spiritual that it helps to cope with loss. Because "luminous beings are we, not this crude matter." But it will be so hard to accept that Princess Leia is no longer with us aside from the films she's blessed us with. Broke a lot of doors down for women. Strong. Independent. Courageous. Few words. You even helped me when I knew it was time to put a ring on my wife's finger. Because i could see a lot of these qualities in her. Thank you for that. Carrie Fisher herself, was extremely talented. Funny. Super smart and not afraid of anything. I will miss you. We all will miss you. And most importantly, a million thank you's for gracing us with yourself for the rest of our lives. Rest in Peace. The Force is with you, always.
