Braun was extremely over in 2017 then he kept getting hoe’d but Lesnar and turned into a joke. He should’ve won the Universal Title at No Mercy.

Asuka is another one, I swear she was the most over wrestler in early 2018, had the whole undefeated streak going for and not only did she lose to Charlotte at WrestleMania but she tapped out and raised her hand after the match and did nothing but float after that, won the SD Women’s Title, made the piping hot Becky tap out at RR and couldn’t even get on the main card at Mania

I forgot they had Asuka pull a Sting and shake Charlotte’s hand after being defeated :laff::laff:

The only way they will regain viewers is if WWE itself implodes. It sounds crazy but nobody is going to fall for the old deck of cards anymore. WWE survived when crash TV was the in thing. They made it through the 2000s due to the strength of Cena, and they barely survived in 2010s because of Punk and Bryan. All of this reminds me of the movie There Will Be Blood. Dude in the movie wanted so badly to be the top oil tyc00n from burying his competitors, abandoning his own son, and just isolating himself from the world. It got to the point where he became a broken down man with nothing to show for his wealth other than misfortune, loneliness, and grief. Vince can put on his best "the boss is here: routine all he wants, but that doesn't stop the fact that he's miserable in a profession he despises all the way to the deathbed. Hopefully, he'll take this business with him:wow:
Vince despises pro-wrestling? When?

Since he murdered the territories and pissed on his father's grave by going against his word of working with promotions and not against them:ld:
But how does that mean he despises the industry? MS wanted to be a monopoly but I highly doubted Bill Gates hated the tech industry.

I like how asuka isnt champion anymore and they're booking her as if she never was one in the first place.

Let's just put her in a tag team :mjlit:
Let's never have her win the tag team titles :mjlit:

:francis:
Charlotte getting the automatic rematch after losing at WM even though that was no longer supposed to be a thing. Did Asuka even get a rematch after her WM loss last year?

He won’t even admit to himself that he runs a wrestling promotion.

Wow... And I heard that Vince hates the "countryness" of wrestling which is why he constantly buried JR. And this is the guy who has a monopoly on wrestling?

He’s obscenely insecure about these sort of things. It’s exactly why he always treated JR like shyt. He specifically fired him in 2005 when they went back to USA network because he felt that an “ugly and old okie” wouldn’t sell and would hurt their image even though he’s nearly universally held as the best play by play commentator of the last 25 years and arguably the best ever while making a godfather offer to Mike Goldberg of the UFC who had no knowledge of wrestling at all. It’s why he almost tried to replace him with Mike Adamle in 2008 even though he knew nothing whatsoever about pro wrestling either and ultimately replaced him with Michael Cole.

Everything has to be big city with him because he thinks everything else will be perceived as mindless backwoods hillbilly shyt. It’s probably why even small things are done like how the Dudley’s got billed as from NYC even though Devon is from new Rochelle and Ray is from Massapequa. They bill Brock Lesnar as from Minneapolis even though he grew up in South Dakota on a dairy farm. It’s why they constantly used a mock southern accent when taking shots at WCW and Ted Turner in the first place. I’m sure there’s a lot of truth to the Austin-McMahon rivalry when you think about it in the sense that Vince didn’t want someone with the image of Steve Austin as so very southern being the centerpiece of his promotion. It’s the antithesis of what he always promoted hogan as and John Cena too.

Not only that but I believe the media looking "down" on wrestling as some carny shyt further increased Vince's insecurity.

Not only that but I find it funny when HHH, Cena and other big name wrestlers babble on and on about "how you gotta LOVE it" when their boss himself doesn't love it.:heh:

And that goofy old piece of trash low-balls Harper because he doesn't do a southern accent :mjlol:
