Too bad the Milwaukee Brewers couldn’t win a World Series championship when he was still alive. RIP Mr.Bob Uecker.

It’s sad that he couldn’t be able to see his favorite team finally win a championship in his lifetime .

:mjlol: Ueck WAS the voice of Milwaukee, not just the Brewers. Before we got Ryan Braun, JJ Hardy, Corey Hart, Prince Fielder to lead the revival, Ueck was the voice of Summer when the Brewers would be complete ass and you'd be there just for the Beer and Brats after Molitor and Yount left.

Gonna be missed for sure, just because of that voice. In classic fashion as well he is immortalized with the Bob Uecker Seats at the ballpark, which is also the cheapest because is an obstructed-view area in the upper grandstand above home plate. :dead:

Thanks for the Memories :salute:

In my city - a place that’s literally divided into sections - there are two people I’ve seen in my lifetime who are universally beloved. One’s Giannis and the other’s Ueck. Both consistently great during peaks and valleys, and genuinely good humans outside of their respective crafts.

We’ve had some great announcers across different sports, but he’s a true legend. Put in work til he was 90 and fought cancer the last few years. Nobody’s voice is gonna fill the booth the same way.

Get up, get up, get outta here! Gone to a better place. :salute:

as an 80's kid, I mostly remember him from being on mr bevidere. that said, this dude worked all the way til the end and lived a very long life at that.
