I think your independent variable here is age, not "education or success". As the "bell curve" skews to its tail, you are more likely to find that the people who predominately eschew the n word are in their advancing years. Your thesis is ridiculous in general, given that most professional athletes use the word...athletes with college education, who are in the highest of income tax brackets.
I think you dont know what you're talking about, and you're blindly attempting to try and shame our communities and people. The n word has a far different history than slurs directed towards Jews and hispanics in America, and its use was far more intense and concentrated. Black people turned a damaging negative into a positive. Fukk what others think, and most especially fukk what you think since you're trying to approach the issue from the angle of a racist.
White people are going to use the word no matter what. If anything, they're angry at the black people who took their word and used it as a slang term among each other. So your idea about white people wanting us to use the word isn't valid.

Lets be real here, college athletes do not earn their college education so dead that shyt right now. I don't even want to pull up the thousands of cases. I can tell you this much, athletes that are highly educated for example Richard Sherman, do not use the term. If you think Marshawn got a legit diploma we should end this discussion now. By the way, Richard Sherman is not 'older', and if you've ever been to an HBCU you'd know what I stated is absolutely true. Their are frats that completely ban the word such as MIT's Rho Nu.
