I'm only 32 don't know if that's considered old or not

But at every level of life as a BM you can sense that (some, not all) BW you encounter at that level will try to subtly challenge you in little ways or son you like you don't know what you're doing and need to be corrected.

It really doesn't matter what your qualifications are. :yeshrug: They have a general distrust of black men leading things and will assume the worst about you until proven otherwise. And even then they won't apologize about it.

My advice is to maintain your distance from those types when you recognize the red flags.

I’d imagine most of these women either grew up without fathers or saw their fathers were simps and let their mothers consistently disrespect them.

I don't see how the "men must serve" thing is unique to black men. Your (societal) value as a man is often measured by what you have and what you can do for others. The thing that differs by race is the aesthetics that are preferred. I know plenty of white dudes at work who dress a certain way because they know it makes (white) chicks go crazy. I'm talking about well educated dudes who don't know shyt about the "outdoors" but whip out that quasi outdoorsman/truck driver/urban cowboy look to get hoes. We know what the preferred aesthetic is for black women. Asian chicks often prefer that well fitted casual look of (white) office guys. And of course hood white chicks prefer the aesthetic that black women prefer.

What is the preferred aesthetic for BW in your opinion?

All a woman needs is money to take care of a child :hula: A child needs male guidance.

The dilemma continues. This is why a lot of us seem to tune out these conversations in favor of bullshyt. People will come in here saying you need both, which is true, but then stop acting like you only need one. :beli:
Breh, this is why I always go by the mantra “go by a woman’s actions and never her words.”

That massive thread about 40+ single career women going down the single parent by choice road, tells us all we need to know about them: they are conceited and vanity driven.

They’ll be the first ones to say “a father just providing financially isn’t enough. He needs to be present in their children’s lives.” But suddenly, money and resources is all a woman needs to raise a child by herself, a la Eboni K Williams, Naomi Campbell etc.

Not once is the child’s needs ever truly thought of. The idea of raising a child with both the father and mother present is seen as a remnant of “patriarchy”, a way to control a woman.

We tell men that if they can’t find a woman to procreate with, their DNA simply isn’t destined to live on. We don’t blame women. Conversely, if a woman can’t find a man to start a family, well it’s men’s fault and nothing to do with her being shytty. She’s gonna be a mother one way or another, to hell with what’s best for her child.

There are so many with this mentality, I’m extremely lucky to have found a good one. It’s looking more bleak for the black ‘community’ every day. :francis:

People (especially Blacks) with money through entertainment/sports, have this weird obsession with having kids for legacy but not wanting to be married.

Why?

For women, once you hit The 1% financially, you're only gonna want men "on your level." Problem is that those men have unlimited options, so you either get lucky and find Mr. Right, or just find a breh you can co-parent with but remain separate.

For male entertainers.....I guess they figure child support >>> alimony. Most of em are roosters that want a big hen house, and they KNOW they can't be faithful to one woman. They also like the idea of being the patriarch of a big azz family since most women ain't tryna have 5+ kids. Of course, having 10 kids by 8 women doesn't really make you a patriarch of anything. Just a sperm donor.

Not once did you list having a father figure for their children to provide a stable family. Need I say more? :francis:
I don't think I needed to. Outside of Skai Jackson, the rest are doing well. Only time will tell if their kids exceed expectations or drown like the rest of Hollywood kids.

I don’t support baby mama culture, but this isn’t limited to black female celebrities.

Megan Fox and Gisele are both pregnant out of wedlock, and Tom Brady had a kid out of wedlock before he married Gisele. Gigi Hadid, the Kardashians, Madonna, all had babies out of wedlock

A much larger percentage of Black female celebrities are baby mamas. But let me guess, Rihanna getting caught up in this nonsense with ASAP Rocky facing 24 years despite all the high caliber men she’s had access to is cool right?

I don’t know what she sees in him, but she is better equipped to be a single mom than the average woman.
