Dude looks like a cross between his Interstellar character and an X-Wing pilot. :mjlol:

And goddamn, that synopsis reads exactly like the shyt his character goes true in Interstellar. :deadmanny:

This shyt is gonna be buried deep by 'rip-off' accusations.

Unlike Interstellar this one is deeply rooted in ACTUAL science.

It's a great read. Gets super nerdy but if they stay true to the book it'll be amazing.

I'm just not convinced Damon can pull off the wittiness of Mark Watney.

Nah, it seems like they did, but they really didn't.

The first like ... 20 pages of the book is him getting stranded on space. The rest is just pure him surviving. Which is the most interesting part (outside of the actual rescue mission). But the 'filler' is great. Everything that happens between him getting stranded and the attempted rescue mission is what draws you in.

Mile in the Sky
a person stuck in space and having to make it back to earth... thats exactly what Gravity was breh :manny:

i'm not saying the movies are 100% the same.
He's stuck on mars bruh, trying to grow food because itll take years for him to be rescued...not floating around space for an hour. So it's definitely different.
