Yo @Nostalgic what happened to that :mjpls: shyt you were talkin bout Big Bank Blank breh? :pachaha:

He's not the flashiest hire, but he seems like someone players would love to play for and will work as a CEO-type coach like Smitty instead of a glorified coordinator like the last two numbskulls we had as HCs.

We Rah Dawggin these hoes :banderas:

I know Zac Robinson is the front runner for OC, what candidates would y'all like to see as DC?

Man, i dont know. It just seems with the way the NFL is going you need an offensive minded head coach. If you go with a defensive coach then the moment you find someone that can run a nice offense another team will hire them to be a head coach, then you have to either pray someone on the staff knows that same offense or you start from square one and lose all continuity with your team.

When we lost Shanahan and kept Quinn, Shanahan took everyone who knew his offense with him and we were fukked.

Yeah people Say hire dope offensive coordinators only for them to get poached by teams.

Shanahan was the reason the falcons went to the SB not Quinn.

Quinn/TD never made an offer to keep any of Shanny's tree as OC. If they did, we'd be just fine. You have to build a full staff, not just coordinators. Rah should be able to tap into that McVay tree now with Zac Robinson. If not him, somebody else from that staff/relationship. Then bring some lower tiered staff in behind him to watch and learn and keep it rolling.

Quick article on why the Falcons didn't sign Belichick.

Quick summary for those that didn't want to read it.

1. Belichick wanted way too much control over the team.

2. Blank felt that Belichick has reached a level of complacency in his career, felt like at this stage of Belichick's career he's only in it to break Shula's wins record.
