Put yourself in Belichick shoes for a brief moment.
For close to 20 years you got to have your cake and eat it too you were the GM and head coach. Why all of a sudden you go to a new franchise and you have to relinquish all that type of power, you wouldn't signed with the Falcons either.

I’m not blaming Bill at all, I’m blaming Blank who screwed the pooch here. Team lacks discipline and accountability. All we needed was a QB and someone to scheme the D.

Blank more concerned with keeping his social circle going than winning. This hire screams Rich McKay.

I wasn't too high on the potential Belichick hire.

He's like 71 - 72 years old he only has about 5 more seasons of football left in him. His last draft classes haven't really been to great either.

With Raheem he knows the landscape of this division. He already knows the organization. He knows both sides of the football (He was the wr's coach during Dan's tenured)

The main thing that will make or break this hire is his choices at OC and DC.

This franchise needs to be turned on its head and rebooted from the inside out.

Let’s be real here. Rich McKay made this call and he made it because Blank wanted to keep his friend around for his entire tenure with the team.

Field was littered with coaching talent and Blanks top priority was retaining Rich McKay. :mjlol:

People who are mad about this

Go look at Bill Belichick's record before Brady came along :mjlol:
In his 1st 6 seasons Belichick only had 1 winning season and when the Browns went to the playoffs that year guess what happened??? They got smacked by the Steelers and lost 29-9

But but but Belichick's defense

fukk outta here:russ:

THIS

Unlike Arthur Smith. I'm pretty sure is actually gonna bring in an OC and a DC and not try to take one of them roles for himself
