For those that don't want another first time coach, how yall feel about Vrabel?
I want an offensive specialist that knows how to maximize all of our weapons.

Vrabel is good defensively, but we are going to need a QB whisperer to groom any young QB we draft

Meh.

But there are whispers going around that the Falcons are waiting patiently for the Patriots to cut Bellicheck loose.

The problem I have with that is.

1. Bellicheck is old he only has like s good 5 more seasons of good football left in him.

2. He'll prolly want too much control, which will HELLA diminish Terry's role with the Falcons (Or if he has any) same thing with Harbaugh.

Yea I’ve been seeing a lot of those reports online, I hope we don’t go that route.

The biggest reason I wouldn’t want Belichick is that he’d likely try to hand it off to McDaniels AGAIN. They’d probably be decent in their time here if they could find a QB

Alright here are some of the head coaching candidates.

Ben Johnson
Jim Harbaugh
Eric Bieniemy
Dave Canales
Frank Smith
Mike McDonald
Raheem Morris
Bobby Slowik
Shane Waldron
Dan Quinn
Brian Flores
Aaron Glenn
Lou Anarumo
Brian Johnson
Todd Monken

Let's get some pretty obvious things out the way
Blank sure as hell isn't signing Eric Bieniemy, Brian Flores, Aaron Glenn, Brian Johnson, Raheem Morris or Dan Quinn

IMO I think this coaching search will boil down to.
Shane Waldron, Lou Anarumo or Brian Callahan

It'll prolly fall between Lou or Callahan.

He just fired AS who was his OC. What about Vrabel says he’s going to develop and showcase a QB?
I'm looking at Vrabel as more of the CEO type HC, who should be able to put together a top tier staff based on his experience. Smitty was that type of coach, just with no previous HC experience. Hindsight being 20/20, we see that style brought the most sustained success this franchise has ever seen. I hope whoever we hire is more in that mold than an overgrown coordinator like the last 2.

Looks like the Bears are keeping Eberflus which means they'll strongly keep Fields. And set off a chain reaction of them potentially trading the first round pick with the falcons.

@Nostalgic I think you were right on the :mjpls: coaching search breh. We've requested interviews for Aaron Glenn and Ravens DL coach Anthony Weaver. Glenn is legit, and I don't know much about Weaver, but to request to speak to him instead of McDonald and at the same exact time as Glenn looks super shytty to me :francis:
