I wouldn’t make any definitive statements on any of those guys(Pitts, London, Bijan) because Arthur Smith is completely inept and should be fired.

Get a competent play caller in there and then let’s see what it looks like. Smith is intent on building a poor man’s Titan’s offense with AJ Brown and King Henry
Drake can play. That’s obvious

Of course the ATL
Why wouldn’t he?

I feel like I’ve posted this a hundred times but

-Mediocre to sub par accuracy
-Complex offensive system that makes QBs look like and play like shyt for threee consecutive seasons
-Overbearing coach/OC (it’s the same exact situation Justin Fields is dealing with in Chicago)

This ain’t Madden yall, scheme, fit and coaching matter

I’m not sure what we got TBH

Pitts was pretty clearly a reach and a colossal waste of a draft pick, I think we can all agree on that

Drake is cool, he’s not a #1, but he’s a solid WR

Still too early on to evaluate Bijan but he’s shown me enough to where I think he’ll be fine.

Agree on firing AS but here’s the funniest thing: The Falcons with a win at NO and a TB loss to CAR win the division :mjlol: (I know neither will happen but still)

Matt ryan been gone for a min.....something gotta change w/ this team.

In a perfect world Rich McKay is fired along with AS and we oversee a new Head of Football Ops. In the real world AS gets fired immediately after the Saints game but there’s so much wrong with this team and franchise it needs to start from the top

Funny you mention Matt Ryan…Falcons fans gave him shyt for so many years, I hope for all of y’all who hated Matt that yall see what having a competent QB looks like and what not having a competent QB looks like

I don't think the Bears are going to let Fields go anyway, so it doesn't matter but you guys criticizing Fields are not taking into account who he has been throwing the ball to over his first few seasons. Fields has had Kmet for a couple of seasons but this is the first year that Fields has had a good outside target like DJ Moore. That is it. So Moore and Kmet is basically his entire receiving corps. Before this year Darnell Mooney was his top outside target. Darnell Mooney is alright but not to the level of DJ Moore.

Breh he’s not a good passer, I hear you on the receiver corps, but he’s not generally accurate. I don’t see that changing in Chicago, Atlanta or anywhere else

BTW, the majority of the Falcons fans on The Coli are in favor of getting Fields, I’m in the minority on here

:picard:
Could have taken him and passed. He hasn’t dynamically changed since so why would AS think he’s the guy now?
Yall keep saying this but I really don't understand this logic. If you don't ever want a player you passed on in the draft, then you would basically never sign a free agent. So Lawrence, Wilson, and Lance are the only players from the 2021 draft we'd ever sign? Yall think if Jamarr Chase(another pass catcher we passed on that would've benefited Matt, which, if yall forgot, was the plan at the time) was a FA tomorrow, TF would be like "nah, we good"? :dwillhuh:

TF was a PRO scout coming from the swamp. He (likely) had little involvement in the drafts there, and our first two drafts reflect that. Our FA signings this year show where his real talent is. Based on all that, I'm sure that TF has a completely different evaluation of JF the 3rd year pro vs. JF the prospect coming off the COVID year. Now, what that evaluation is I have no idea, but I guarantee it hasn't been static for the past 3 years.

Yall don't like breh, I get it. The thought of giving him a brand new deal gives me :dame: as well. But "we didn't draft him before" makes no sense

Right we didn’t draft Jessie Bates so obviously we shouldn’t have signed him :heh:
That shyt makes no sense. We had more pressing issues like zero playmakers and reached for the one that we did get instead of Fields :dead:

I'm sayin :pachaha:

We didn't want to waste Matt's last years mentoring a new QB when we thought we could still compete. Hindsight is 20/20 but it makes sense that we passed even if they did have a good grade on him.

I don't know if Fields will become more accurate, but if the Bears draft Marvin Harrison Jr then Fields and the Bears offense will definitely become more lethal.

Exactly, we were looking for weapons bc the ones we had were washed or left. We see how much passing on him has helped us. He’s still better than every bum we tried to plug and play since that draft.
