AEW gave Ricky Starks a lot for just being decently over.
He'll probably get an opportunity in WWE, especially with Cody's position, but I don't see him getting a higher card position than he had in AEW.

It would flop. Despite what the IWC thinks the WWE crowd is still very much into the star power aspect of wrestling, and Cardona would need Chelsea with him in order to have a chance at being over.

I think his ceiling on the main roster is IC/US title, but he could be one of the more impressive champs. He might takeover NXT once Trick gets called up, unless Oba Femi returns.
Even back here, JR sounds so flat and unimpressed that it's jarring. His script was probably in all CAPS and exclamation points but he read it like the Clear Eyes guy.

I'm pretty sure he was, in the clip he says "I didn't even recognize him." so I'd say that's a fair assumption.
